QuantBlocks glossary

Plain-English definitions. QuantBlocks is an offline research console, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold.
Block
A grouping of records you research — an asset class or a coherent research universe, such as Stocks, Crypto, Forex, Commodities, or Robotics.
Stack
Your high-level decision surface: what changed, what needs review, what to open next.
Signal
An item worth reviewing — high risk unreviewed, a passed check date, a stale review, an evidence gap. Never an instruction to trade.
Freshness
Time since your last review of a record. It ages as records are left unreviewed.
Data Coverage
How complete a record’s evidence is — thesis, catalyst, red flag, next check.
Completeness
The same evidence-fill idea, read per record or aggregated per Block.
Evidence File
A record’s full sheet: direction, confidence, trajectory, factor profile, evidence balance, notes, provenance.
Research Dispatch
A signal card explaining what surfaced, why now, what is missing, and the next review action.
Decision Log
Your local history of every action. Research history, not a trade record.
Set Aside
Parked, not deleted. A record you have consciously shelved; always restorable.
Snooze
Temporarily hide a record; it returns to the queue later so you do not forget it.
Watch
Flag a record you want to keep an eye on.
Provenance
The chain of custody kept on every record — where it came from, when imported or edited.
Next Review Action
The concrete next step QuantBlocks suggests for a record, in research terms.
