QuantBlocks subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices for each tier are shown at checkout.
Cancel any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your receipt emails and from the product). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep full access to your paid tier until the period ends, and you are not charged again.
Because access continues to the end of the paid period after cancellation, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except: (a) where required by law; (b) duplicate or erroneous charges, which are refunded in full; and (c) at QuantBlocks' discretion for exceptional circumstances — contact support within 14 days of the charge.
Any subscriber who joins at launch pricing keeps that price permanently for their tier and cadence, even after list prices rise — including across cancellation and later reactivation of a founder-flagged subscription. The founder rate-lock is a durable property of your subscription record, not a coupon or promotion.
When a Local subscription is cancelled or lapses (after the payment grace window), the console enters a read/export-preserved, updates-frozen state:
Never disabled — your research is never held hostage:
Disabled on lapse:
Reactivating restores updates and multi-device activation. The subscription boundary is: you pay for updates and multi-device/cloud — not for the right to keep using and exporting what you already built.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries automatically and your access enters a grace window rather than being cut off. You are never locked out mid-session by a transient billing failure.
Tier changes are handled through the Stripe Customer Portal with proration by Stripe. Reactivation restores your prior tier; founder-flagged pricing remains intact.
